San Francisco been on my mind since I been shooting with my Leica. Chinatown SF to be exact. The experiences I've gain from being out in the field are unique and special. Street photography and Tai Chi has enlighten me on my creative perspective.

I don’t recall Chinatown SF being this memorable from last visiting eleven years ago. As we grow in our own individual ways, we pay more attention and notice the details we’ve missed.

We stayed in Union Square which is right next to Chinatown. Every morning I woke up early and walked over to witness Chinatown come to life. Hanging out at the local chinese bakery’s. Observing small shop owners sliding the gates and setting up shop. It was also the beginning of “Ching Ming” so I wanted to see if the vibes are the same as us back home. Stockton Street reminded me of Mott Street (between Hester and Grand Street) in Manhattan’s Chinatown and Eight Ave of Brooklyn’s Chinatown.
